關於首都的那些故事
台北畫刊，是台北市觀光傳播局倾力打造的一份文化刊物，以生動呈現台北都市生活的多彩面貌。這份雜誌不僅在國際舞台上為台北文化發聲，更承載著向外國人介紹這座城市的重責大任。
在重新設計的路上，我們秉持著清新小品的風格，卻不忘為台北畫刊賦予更多生活氣息。首先，我們將英文版和日文版分為兩種不同的翻頁方式。英文版遵循西方閱讀習慣，由右至左翻閱；而日文版則按照日本傳統，由左至右翻閱。這樣的設計，既尊重了不同文化的閱讀習慣，也讓讀者更加順暢地閱讀內容。
台北畫刊不僅僅是一本旅遊刊物，更是一份深入挖掘台北城市內涵的文化指南。我們在封面上加入了一句口號："STORIES FROM THE CAPITAL"，讓讀者在一瞥之下即可了解本期刊物的主題和內容走向。

Stories from the Capital
Taipei Magazine is a cultural magazine crafted with care by Dept. of Information and Tourism, Taipei City Government to vividly showcase the diverse facets of urban life in Taipei. Not only does this magazine speak for Taipei's culture on the international stage, but it also bears the weighty responsibility of introducing this city to foreigners.
On the road to redesign, we embrace a fresh and lively style while infusing Taipei Magazine with even more vitality. Firstly, we've divided the English and Japanese editions into two different page-flipping styles. The English version follows Western reading habits, flipping from right to left, while the Japanese version adheres to the traditional method, flipping from left to right. This design not only respects different cultural reading habits but also ensures a smoother reading experience for our audience.
Taipei Magazine is not just a travel magazine; it's a cultural guide that delves deep into the essence of Taipei city. We've added a slogan on the cover: "STORIES FROM THE CAPITAL," allowing readers to instantly grasp the theme and direction of this issue at a glance.
Taipei, as a capital city, has a modern vibe with lots of variety. With our clean and simple design, we aim to showcase the vibrancy and charm of this city to foreigners, helping them really get what makes Taipei so special.
